MEET KENNEDY BUCK

Kennedy Buck was born and raised in Bowie, Maryland. Being raised by a single mother instilled in her, passion, dedication, and a determination for the things she wanted in life. It was this passion and determination that led her to earn her recent internship with MSNBC'S political talk show "Morning Joe."

Her passion for journalism began after joining her high school's speech and debate team. During that time on the team, Kennedy won numerous awards for her public speaking and debating abilities. While in college, she founded and created SisterTalk(®), a monthly town hall meeting for college women to discuss everyday issues. She felt there was a need for more topics for Black women to be themselves and to take a pause from their busy lives. The town hall helped Kennedy with her hosting and reporting skills while also giving her confidence. After College, Kennedy hopes to work as a Multi Media Journalist for a local tv station and work her way up to be an Anchor someday.
